3.5.3 Pump Supply

The vacuum pump(s) should be connected to the dryer using the pre-wired cable(s) provided.
1
Remove the cover from the terminal box on pump.
2
Feed the cable through the cable gland on the side of the terminal box.
3
Connect the wires to the terminals marked U1, V1 and W1.
Note. The internal wiring configuration differs with the size of pump as illustrated below. Do not change this configuration as it will alter the
operating parameters of the pump.
4
Once connected start the dryer and verify that the pump is rotating in the correct direction. The required direction of rotation is clearly
marked on the pump.
5
If the pump is rotating in the wrong direction, isolate the electrical supply and swap two phases over on the vacuum pump supply cable
terminals.

3.5.4 PT100 Temperature Sensor

Connect the two core pre-wired cable (PT100) to the terminal block on the side of the pump. There is no polarity on the sensor so the cable can
be connected to either terminal of the block. Secure the cable to the pump using the P-clip and M5 screw provided. There are two tapped holes
on the pump case that will accept the M5 screw.
On duplex pump installation connect the PT100 to the upper pump.
The pump(s) will start running as soon as the start control is pressed, however the dryer will not start to cycle for 10 minutes or until the pump(s)
reaches an operating temperature of 50
