The PROXXON Super SS 230/E Jig Saw is an easy-to-
use but nonetheless high-performance device, which
produces excellent cutting results.
This instruction manual covers:

• Safety regulations

• Operation and maintenance
• Spare parts list.
Please read carefully.
The use of this instruction manual
• makes it easier, to become familiarised with the
device,
• prevents faults due to improper operation
• and increases the service life of the device.
Keep this instruction manual in an easily accessible
place.
The instruction manual must be read before, and
observed during operation of the device.
PROXXON is not liable for the safe functioning of the
device:
• in the case of non-designated use or for purposes
• other than those specified in the instruction manual,
• if the safety regulations are not observed.
Warranty claims are invalid in the case of:
• improper operation,
• insufficient maintenance.
In the interests of your safety, please always observe
the safety regulations.

Safety regulations
Please carefully read and observe the following safety
regulations before operating the device. You will thus
avoid injuries to yourself and to others.
• Keep the working area tidy.
• Check the device for damage before use; replace
defective components.
• Do not use electric tools in the rain, in damp
environments or near inflammable liquids or gases.
• Avoid body contact with earthed objects, e.g. pipes,
radiators, ovens and refrigerators.
• Keep children away from the working area.
• Always wear protective goggles.
• Store unused tools in a locked room, out of reach of
children.
• Do not overload the device.
• Replace blunt tools promptly.
• Fasten or clamp work pieces securely.
• Protect connection lead from heat and sharp edges
and route so that it cannot be damaged.
• Do not lift the device by the lead.
• Clean thoroughly after use.
• Remove the mains plug from the socket when not in
use or prior to maintenance, tool change or repair.
• Repairs to the electrical system may only be
performed by a specialist.
• Use only those accessories and spare parts
recommended by PROXXON.
• Keep operating instructions in a safe place.
