is fully charged and LED 21 no longer
flashes.
Parent unit is connected to
mains power, but no battery is
inserted. LED 21 is lit up green.
Notes:
– Charging the battery for the very first
time takes about 10 hours.
– Subsequently recharging the depleted
battery takes about 6 hours.
– With a fully charged battery, you can
operate the parent unit for up to 8
hours.
The time needed to recharge the battery and
the operating time both depend on how
heavily the parent unit is used:
– The battery can normally be recharged
in about 6 hours, but it will take longer
if the device is switched on at the same
time.
– Similarly, the operating time of up to 8
hours will be reduced if you use the
talk-back function or choose a high
volume setting.
– The operating time can be increased, for
example, if audio monitoring is activated
(see "6.9 Switching between audio and
video monitoring" on page 63), if your
baby has a particularly restful sleep, or if
the "LCD Auto Off" option for the screen
is switched on (see "Switching between
audio
and
page 63).
