Note: You can also wall mount the baby unit
in a suitable position with the enclosed
screws. Make sure you position the screws
45 mm apart for this.
4.3 Connecting baby unit and
parent unit
Normally, a connection is automatically
established between the two units when
they are switched on:
1. Make sure that the two units are always
within range.
2. To switch the baby unit 1 on, press the
On/Off button 10. To do this, press and
hold the On/Off button until the power
LED 8 lights up.
3. To switch the parent unit 17 on, press the
On/Off button 32 and keep it depressed
until the LED 21 lights up green.
You will hear a beep, the "Hello" screen
will appear, and the parent unit will begin
searching for the connection signal of the
baby unit.
While the connection is being set up, the
connection indicator 20 will light up red.The
screen will remain white and show no video
picture.
The corresponding blue symbol will
appear on the screen of the parent
unit.
As soon as the connection has been
established, the connection indicator 20
on the parent unit 17 and the VOX LED 7
on the baby unit 1 will light up green. The
connection
symbol
disappears,
and
starts.
If the connection setup is not successful
after 30 seconds the parent unit 17 will emit
a beep at regular intervals and the
connection indicator 20 will light up red.

4. First, check to be sure your baby is still
comfortable.
5. Then move the parent unit to a different
location
connection signal so that a connection
can be set up successfully.
The parent unit and the baby unit will
automatically make repeated attempts to
connect until successful.
Note: If the connection indicator 20 begins
to flash green, this means that there is a
connection between the parent unit and the
baby unit, but your baby is currently asleep
and therefore the device has automatically
activated Eco-Mode to reduce the high-
frequency radio waves in baby's room and
save energy.
Attention! While Eco-Mode is
active,

connection between the two units remains
established, even while baby is sleeping.
4.4 Power supply
Baby unit
The power supply for the baby unit 1 works
only via the mains adapter. LED 8 lights up
green while the baby unit is on.
Parent unit
The parent unit 17 can be operated on
battery power with no mains connection for
up to 8 hours, or via the mains adapter, with
or without the battery inserted.
