- While measuring resistance, testing leads can produce an error from
0.1 to 0.2. To obtain accurate readings in low resistance measures, in the
400Ω range, you should make a short circuit in the input terminals using
the REL button.
- If resistance reading is not at least 0.5 Ω please check testing leads, or
maybe you select an incorrect function or HOLD button is pressed.
- When measure high resistance values (> 1 MΩ), is normal that the meter
holds for a few seconds to stabilize readings.
- A good diode bust be produce at direct fall voltage between 0.5 and 0.8V.
If you see 0L in the screen LCD, the circuit is opened or polarity is inverted.
- To test a capacitor with polarity, place the red testing lead in the anode and
the black testing lead into the cathode. To minimize the stored capacitance
effect, testing leads must be as shorter as possible. Use REL mode to test
a low capacitance value.
- If we test a high value capacitor, the tester will take more time to test.
