Warnings:
• The Tesmed must not be used for purposes other than those indicated.
• We recommend using original electrodes only to guarantee top performance, as
these have been developed specifically for the T esmed. Non original electrodes
could burn the skin.
• The Tesmed must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Electrocardiogram monitoring equipment may be disturbed by the current used for
the electro stimulator.
• We do not recommend using the T esmed on children under the age of 14 or the
elderly over 75.
• The electrodes must not be placed less than 10 cm from the eyeballs.
• Never place the electrodes on the carotid sinus or on spastic muscles.
• Do not use the equipment on patients with special health problems without first
obtaining medical advice from their doctor.

Maintenance

Only original spare-parts and products must be used for maintenance operations.
To keep the Tesmed in perfect efficiency, you must obser ve the following mainte-
nance intervals:
A) Regularly (monthly if used regularly, every fortnight if used intensively): check
the general state of the electrode cables. There should be no signs of no rusting.
B) Monthly: clean the body of the machine with a soft cloth dipped in alcohol
(NB: switch the machine off and remove the batteries).
C) Regularly (at the first signs of wear): replace the electroconducting plates. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for any provision of the warranty if the above
recommendations are ignored. The manufacturer guarantees this machine will
have a useful life of 5 years with correct use and maintenance.
