WARNINGS
Before using the Tesmed, read this instruction manual carefully.
Here area few tips:
1) Before switching the T esmed
on or, in any case, before increa-
sing intensity: always apply the
electrodes to the areas to be trea-
ted and connect them via their
cables to the T esmed. If you fail
to do this, the T esmed will register
an error and "E E" will appear on
the display. Switch off and back on
again.
2) To use a single channel: select
either channel A or channel B on the display and connect the cable to the chosen
channel, making sure that intensity of the channel not being used is set as 0. If not
set correctly, the display registers an error. Switch off and back on again.
3) All the electrode terminals supplied are white. The colours read and black are
only used in the instruction manual to help you understand better which cable
plug (red or black) should be connected to the electrode shown.
4) We recommend that you increase the intensity gradually.
5) Use only T esmed electrodes, as electrodes of a different size or composition
could cause burns.
6) Always make sure that the electrodes are in proper contact with the skin,
otherwise Tesmed could register an error during use.
7) Take care that the cable connector is properly inserted in the Tesmed: the arrow
on the connector must face the operator, i.e., facing the front of the Tesmed (fig. 1).
8) The use of non original Tesmed electrodes and spare-parts.
NB: WHEN SEVERAL PROGRAMS ARE REQUIRED FOR A TREA TMENT, ALWAYS
DO THE FIRST FOR ALL THE DA YS INDICATED BEFORE ST ARTING THE NEXT
ONE.
