NOTE: PRO2 functionality is enabled from version 2.9.
Calibration process:
It must be done periodically or each time a pen
corresponding to a new fabrication batch is used.
1-Press and hold the
enter to PRO program selection mode. A beep will
sound and lights corresponding to PRO programs
enabled in your firmware version will start blinking.
Press
button as many time as necessary to
select the required program. Then wait three seconds
to confirm the selection. The incubator will emit two

lights of same panel with the previous IC10/20FR in-
cubator firmware update.
NOTE: detailed procedure for updating the firmware
can be found in the Firmware update section of this
manual.
2-Remove the swab from the device and moisturize
it with 2 drops of water. Then activate the device ma-
king sure its' swab has not come in contact with any
surface (negative control or clean condition). This will
be used as a reference by the incubator. To activate
the device, follow steps described in PRO1's directions
for use.
3- After removal of the swab, insert the pen in the PRO
incubation/reading position (Figure 2). Make sure to
place PRO2 as it is indicated on the incubator label.
When PRO2 is inserted in the correct position, it can-
not be rotated (Figure 2).
4-Press and hold
+
start calibration process. The reading will be indicated
by a continuous alarm, after the blinking alarm, which
will last 3 seconds.
5-Once the audible alarm is finished, the incubator
will record the calibration configuration. Calibration
will be confirmed by printing a ticket.
Reading Process:
1-Press and hold the

your firmware version will start blinking. Press

2-Use the PRO2 pen to take the sample from the sur-
face to be analyzed. For this, follow directions des-
cribed in PRO2´s directions for use.
3-After removal of the swab, insert the pen on the
incubation/reading position (Figure 2). Make sure to
place PRO2 as it is indicated on the incubator label.
When PRO2 is inserted in the correct position, it can-
not be rotated (Figure 2).
4-Press and hold the

Do not move or remove the pen from the incu-
bation and reading position during this process.
