Establishing a Connection Using the Online Wizard
The convenient online Wizard guides you step by step through the initial confi guration
of the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater.
Requirements
 Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or
higher must be installed on your computer.
 The computer must have access to the Internet.
 The SSID (network name) of the WLAN base station must be set to "visible", and if
the MAC address fi lter is enabled, it must be switched off for the initial confi gura-
tion. Both options are confi gured upon delivery of a FRITZ!Box.
Establishing a Connection
1. Start a web browser.
2. Enter avm.de/en/repeater in the address fi eld.
3. Load the Confi guration Wizard for the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater on your computer.
4. Start the Wizard and follow the instructions on your screen.

 At the LAN port an IP address must be obtained automatically (DHCP).
