Operating mode S1: Continuous operation
Operating mode S6 40%: Continuous operation with
idling (cycle time 10 minutes). To ensure that the
motor does not become excessively hot it may only
be operated for 40% of the cycle at the specified
rating and must then be allowed to idle for 60% of the
cycle.
6. Before starting
Pull the power plug before performing any
adjusting, conversion and assembly work.
The machine has to be set up where it can stand
securely.
All covers and safety devices have to be properly
fitted before the machine is switched on.
It must be possible for the blade to run freely.
When working with wood that has been
processed before, watch out for foreign bodies
such as nails or screws, etc.
Before you press the ON/OFF switch check that
the saw blade is fitted correctly and that moving
parts move easily.
Before you connect the machine to the mains
supply make sure that the data on the model
plate are identical to the mains data.
6.1 Assembling the machine (Fig. 3 – 9)
1. Lift the machine out of the packaging and remove
the four plastic protective caps (Fig. 3). These are
for transit purposes only and can be disposed of.
2. Pull up the holder bar (Fig. 4 / Item 21) and unfold
the bottom frame as shown in Figures 5 – 6.
Ensure that all four locking bars (Fig. 6+7 / Item
22) lock into position. Follow the instructions
above in reverse order to fold up the bottom
frame. Ensure that the appropriate locking bars
are released for folding (Fig. 8).
3. On uneven surfaces the saw can be assembled
to be stable using the adjustable foot (Fig. 9 / Item
23). There are lugs on the other three feet using
which the saw can be anchored securely to the
surface.

7. Operation
7.1. General control elements (Fig. 10-12)

ON/OFF switch
Press in the sides of red push-button to open the
switch cover (Fig. 10).
To switch on:
Press the green button (I) (Fig. 11)
To switch off:
Press the red button (0) (Fig. 11)
Emergency Stop function:
Press the red button (flap) (Fig. 12)
To prevent the machine being started without
authorization, the closed flap can be secured with a
padlock (not supplied).
Motor circuit-breaker:
In the event of an overload (for example if the saw
blade stops) the motor circuit-breaker will cut out
automatically.
The saw can be switched on again by pressing the
green button (I).
Zero voltage switch:
The saw is fitted with a zero voltage switch to prevent
it from restarting after a voltage failure. Press the
green button (I) to switch it on again.
7.2 Crosscut and miter saw
7.2.1 Conversion work for use as a crosscut and
miter saw
1. The saw is set up for use as a bench circular saw.
2. If necessary remove the angle and parallel stop
(see 7.3.2) and the saw blade guard (see
7.3.1/11).
3. Turn the knurled screw (Fig. 1 / Item 13) as far as
possible clockwise to move the saw blade to its
lowest position.
4. Pull the lever (Fig. 13 / Item 24) towards yourself
and carefully swing the saw over (Fig. 14-15)
Important. When you swing the saw bench, there
is a risk of suffering crush injuries to your hands
and finger. Only touch the saw bench at the front
and rear when swinging it. Do not reach between
the saw bench and the side parts. Hold the
bench securely as you swing it. Ensure that the
lever engages fully again after you have swung
the saw bench and that the bench is locked into
