Troubleshooting
Some notes are not shown in the drum notation or game screen
Could you be using notes that cannot be shown in the notation?
Notes (note numbers) that cannot be played on the HD-1 are not shown in the drum notation
or game screen. Notes with velocity values below 20 or notes created on a MIDI channel other
than channel 10 will not be shown either.
Some drum notes are not sounded when you turn on the drum part's SOLO
setting
Could you be using notes that do not support SOLO?
Solo is not supported for notes (note numbers) that cannot be played on the HD-1 or for
drum parts whose MIDI channel is not channel 10.
Some drum notes continue sounding even if you turn on MINUS ONE
Could you be using notes that are not supported by MINUS ONE?
Minus One does not support notes (note numbers) that cannot be played on the HD-1 or
drum parts whose MIDI channel is other than 10.
HD-1 Drum Tutor does not show a
accordance with your drumming
Depending on the type of audio device you are using, the assessment made regarding the
timing of the performance can sometimes be delayed (or hastened). In such cases, please
adjust the value of "Audio Latency" using the following procedure:
1.
Choose the menu item Setup | Set Up Audio/MIDI Devices.
2.
Adjust the value of the correction using Audio Latency Adjust.
The value should be increased in the positive direction when the timing assessment is
delayed, and moved toward the negative direction if it is too fast.
HD-1 Drum Tutor does not respond when you strike the HD-1
Did you install the MIDI driver using the correct procedure?
Reinstall the UM-1G driver (the standard driver) using the procedure described in
