When used with a dirty endoscope or medical/surgical instrument for transport to the cleaning area:
1. Hold the end of the endoscope at the junction of the bending section.
2. Slide the ProArmor™ tip protector onto the medical/surgical instrument or the distal end of the dirty endoscope, making sure the tip
of the endoscope is even with the bottom of the tip protector. (See Figure 1)
3. Remove the ProArmor™ tip protector prior to cleaning, soaking, disinfecting, and/or sterilizing the endoscope or medical/surgical
instrument to ensure that all surfaces of the endoscope or medical/surgical instrument are exposed during the selected process.
Never reuse an endoscope tip protector.
Product Disposal:
After use, this product may be a potential biohazard which presents a risk of cross-contamination. Handle and dispose of in
accordance with accepted medical practice and applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
