Scope of delivery

To prevent damage, when drilling ensure that there is sufficient room for the drill head
to emerge once the hole has been made (1, page 3).
Observe the following instructions when working with electrical parts:
Only use a diode test lamp or voltmeter to test voltages in electric cables.
Test lamps with an illuminant consume voltages which are too high and which can
damage the vehicle's electronic system.
When making electrical connections, ensure that
– They are not kinked or twisted
– They do not rub on edges
– They are not laid in sharp edged ducts without protection (2, page 3)
Insulate all connections.
Secure the cables against mechanical wear with cable binders or insulating tape, for
example to existing cables.

Intended use

The MW-SSC-01 control box is an additional product in the MagicWatch product range.
It enables the parking aid to be switched on automatically, triggered by the vehicle's
speed as measured on the speedometer.
The MW-SSC-01 control box enables the MagicWatch parking aid to be used at the front
of the vehicle.
It has been designed for installation in cars.

Technical description

The MW-SSC-01 control box is connected to the speedometer, the MagicWatch system
and the brake or hand brake. The MagicWatch system switches on under a set speed.
