8. Maintenance

FOR YOUR SAFETY :
before cleaning or repairing.
IMPORTANT :
Maintenance and reparation works should
be made by the Official Technical Service of SALVA IN-
DUSTRIAL or by one of our distributors.
Daily maintenance
• General cleaning with non-abrasive, non-toxic pro-
ducts, using a slightly damp cloth.
• With regards to hygiene, it is recommended to keep
the floor, walls, ramp and roof inside the chamber
clean.
Monthly maintenance
Remove any dirt from the fan grille. (Every 15 days in
•
dusty conditions).
Clean the cooling unit capacitor.
•
• Check the seal tightness of the door(s), seals, hinges,
safety opening and alarms.
Quarterly maintenance
Clean the solenoid water inlet filter.
•
Clean the water inyection nozzle.
•
Clean the capacitor (to be carried out by the Technical
•
Assistance Service) (should be carried out more fre-
quently in dusty environments).
•
Clean the water evaporator tray located below the
•
evaporator.
6 month period maintenance
• Check the state of the wastewater run-offs.
• Check the electrical connections are secure.
• Check all reading, control and safety equipment, along
with the protection and alarm systems, in order to en-
sure they are working properly and are in a perfect
state.
• Check the refrigerant load.
• Check electrical consumption and also the suction
and discharge pressures, in order to ensure the ener-
gy performance of the facility.
• Check the external appearance of the pipe insulation.
• Check the pipe supports for any non-sporadic surface
condensation or ice.
Check the supports underneath the chamber, ensuring it is
properly secured and joined to the ground.
The frecuency for cleaning the deliming device depends on
the hardness of the water supplied (essential for calcareous
waters) by the network.
