Sharpening: bring with you always the sharpening stone I and use it to sharpen the movable

blade 3 whenever you need. At this proposal verify the thread of both movable and fix blade
every hour more or less and re-sharpening if necessary (always the detached cable as
explained in the pertinent paragraph). A cut made with a blade not sharpened damages or
reduces the life of the machine. The usage of the blades in bad conditions can cause damages
not covered by the warranty.
Cleaning of the blades: in case on the blades remain residue of resin or other type of dirty you

have to use the detergent supplied. The operation of cleaning must be effected when the
pruner is switched off and the cable detached.
Periodically it's advice to check the state of the connectors of the machine removing the

eventual dirty present on the fixing screw and on connector contacts.
16. PROGRAMMED MAINTENANCE (Voucher)

The machine is equipped with an internal system of cycle control of programmed maintenance.
Through the display and the beep the machine advices the user about the necessity to make the
maintenance and the machine must be brought to an authorised reparation centre.
The intervention consists in a certain number of checks and regulations and in a tuning of the machine.
You have to follow the stated programmed maintenance which allow to have the machine always efficient
and in good condition. If you do not follow the programmed maintenance the machine goes against
malfunction risks and the reasons of warranty are declined.
Advices of programmed maintenance:
From 300.000 cuts since the latest maintenance up to the next switch on it appear on the

display the pertinent symbol of the maintenance (D6). The symbol disappears and the machine
can be used. At the next restart the advice appears again.
We advice to take the machine for the maintenance at around 350.000 cuts.

The reparation centre, after the maintenance, reset the partial cuts. The next voucher will be

needed after other 350.000 cuts.
If you do not take the machine at the maintenance, the advice represents up to 400.000 cuts 
after that it doesn't appear anymore.
The programmed maintenance is very important and it must be executed in scheduled time.

The warranty doesn't cover the pruner when the programmed maintenance is not executed or

in case it's made by non qualified staff not belonging to an authorised centre assistance using
not original spare parts.
17. IMPORTANT – SAFETY REGULATIONS AND PRECUTIONS FOR USAGE

17.1 PERSONAL SAFETY

With the aim to guarantee the personal safety we advice to follow the instructions here below.
Reading carefully all instructions concerning the ignition, the working and precautions of usage. To

store up the instruction manual bringing it with you during the usage of the machine.
Do not open the backpack of the batteries: electric danger.

The machine must be always used with the necessary personal protective equipment. In particolare

with gloves, glasses and accident protection shoes:
Gloves: the usage of gloves do nt prevent from serious wound in case you introduce the fingers

or your hand between the cutting blades. Never put the fingers or hands or any other part
between the cutting blades. The same prescription is valid for animals. In case of accident
contact or go to the nearest doctor. Furthermore never introduce between the blades any other
object different from those the machine has been designed.
