Overview of the Data Structure

The SMA Fuel Save Controller records the system history and saves three files with different data each day:
• One file with data for fast acquisition of measured values
• One file with data for slow acquisition of measured values
• One file with event and error messages
Once the SMA Fuel Save Controller has recorded the system history for 100 days in a ring buffer, it starts to overwrite
the files.
The files are saved in CSV format and recorded according to the following pattern:

Viewing System History Data

Requirements:
☐ To access the files, a file management program (e.g., Windows Explorer) or web browser (e.g., Google Chrome)
must be installed.
☐ The file management program or web browser must have an FTP function.
☐ To open the files, a spreadsheet program or text editor must be installed.
Procedure:
1. Enter the IP address of the SMA Fuel Save Controller ftp://172.16.1.21 in the address bar of the file
management program or web browser.
2. Enter password(see Section 5.1 "Logging In and Out of the User Interface", page 21).
3. Enter the desired path (see Section 9.1 "Overview of the Data Structure", page 98).
4. Open the required file.
