Setting up

ON/OFF switch and setting speed
The appliance is switched on at the ON/OFF switch. The green control lamp in the ON/OFF switch indicates
that the appliance is ready for operation.
The speed (shaking intensity) is selected using the speed setting knob. It can be increased by turning this
knob to the right.
The test tube shaker has a dial.
Shaking with tilt operation
Before starting the shaker, select a low speed to prevent splashing when the appliance starts up.
The operating mode is selected with the slide switch. To select tilt operation, turn the slide switch to the right
as far as it will go.
The symbol ▼ to the left of the slide switch indicates the operating mode.
Shaking is actuated by the pressure of the test tube on the tray and stops again automatically as soon as the
test tube is removed.
Shaking in continuous operation
Before starting the shaker, select a low speed to prevent splashing when the appliance starts up.
The operating mode is selected with the slide switch. To select continuous operation, turn the slide switch to
the left as far as it will go. The symbol ● to the right of the slide switch indicates the operating mode.
In this position, the tray is shaken continuously.
