03. Activating the pairing of the nursery unit
Press down on the pairing switch (16) on the nursery unit until the control lamp (14)
starts to fl icker. Now, let go of the switch, fi g.9.
04. Pairing process
Pairing begins automatically. The parent units searches for the nursery unit and the message "SEARCHING
FOR CAMERA" appears on the display (4). When pairing is completed, the nursery unit sends the imaged
received to the parent unit, the LED control lamps stop fl ickering.
05. Ending the pairing process
Switch the nursery unit back to the OFF position (17); do the same on the parent unit (2).
Afterwards, switch the nursery and parent unit back to the ON position, fi g.10.
06. Ready for use
The baby monitor set "Apollo" is now fully ready for use.
07. Repeating pairing
Should the device still not be functioning, repeat the steps described in 01. - 05.

Settings and functions

Nursery unit
01. Switching on/off
Switch the nursery unit on with the On/Off switch (17) by moving the switch to the
ON position, fi g.11. The control lamp (14) is green and indicates that the nursery unit
is now operating. To switch the nursery unit off , move the On/Off switch (17) back to
the OFF position.
02. Positioning
Always position the nursery unit out of reach of your child. The minimum distance should be at least 1
metre. Adjust the base of the nursery unit so that the camera (13) and microphone (15) are facing towards
the baby and an image can be transmitted.
03. automatic activation
If the microphone (15) picks up any noise, the nursery unit immediately sends a video signal to the parent
unit. When the noise subsides, the sending of the video signal ceases automatically after a few seconds and
the nursery unit returns to its idle mode.
04. Range control
This baby monitor set is equipped with a range control system. The nursery unit and the parent unit check
the bidirectional contact at regular intervals. Even when the nursery unit is not picking up any noises. If the
range is exceeded, a signal is sent to the parent unit. Please observe that the range control does not function
in the audio mode (see parent unit 01. switch on/off /audio mode).
05. Intercom function
The parent unit provides you with the opportunity of sending consoling words to the nursery unit.

Parent unit

01. Switch on/off /audio mode
Switch the parent unit on with the On/Off switch (2) by moving the switch to the ON
position, fi g.12. Now, the control lamp (5) is green and indicates that the parent unit is
now operating. To switch the parent unit off , move the On/Off switch (2) back to the OFF
position, the LED control lamp (5) goes off . The parent unit is equipped with an audio
mode, to save energy. Here, only audio signals (noises) are transmitted from the nursery
unit to the parent unit. Switch the parent unit to the Audio position using the On/Off
switch (2), in order to access the audio mode and only receive audio signals.
