Preparing the parent unit
The parent unit can be operated with the rechargeable battery as well as be connected to the power network. You decide
which mode you prefer to use.We recommend using the baby monitor "Apollo" with the power supply units included
in the delivery.
Operation with adapter and rechargeable batteries:

01. Opening the battery compartment cover
Put down the parent unit with the back facing towards you. Unscrew the battery com-
partment cover (11) as shown in fig.1.
02. Inserting the rechargeable batteries
Insert the 3x 1.2V NiMh rechargeable batteries into the battery space intended for this
purpose, fig.2, taking the correct polarity +/- into consideration.

03. Closing the battery compartment cover
Now, close the battery compartment cover (11), push the battery compartment cover to
close it and screw it tight again, fig.3.
04. Connecting the power supply unit
Connect the 6V power supply unit to the jack (9) using the jack plug. Connect the power
supply unit to the power supply system, fig.4. The LED control lamp (5) turns green, the
state of the rechargeable battery is now being checked.
05. Charging process
After approx. 3 seconds the green LED control lamp is shut off (5) and it turns red – the charging process
begins, which takes approx. 8 hours to fully charge the rechargeable batteries.
06. Ready for use
When the rechargeable batteries are fully charged, the control lamp (5) turns green when switched on.
When it is switched off, the control lamp goes off. The parent unit is now ready for use for approx. 7 hours.
Please remember this, when the parent unit is used without the power supply unit!

IMPORTANT!
