– Speed too high for cutting height

– Blades fault
– Blades unbalanced
– Fastenings are loose
THE GRASS-CUTTER DOES NOT REMAIN IN NEUTRAL
Adjust the device (fig. 11, ref. A) by loosening the counter-nut and acting on the M8 screw.
ENDING WORK
Release the forward lever to stop the grass-cutter (fig. 1, no° 1). Put the throttle lever in the STOP
position (fig. 2, ref. A) to switch off the engine.
STORAGE AND PROLONGED PERIODS OF INACTIVITY
Store the mower in a dry place, away from atmospheric agents, and preferably cover it with a sheet.
Follow the instructions included in the engine manual. If the grass-cutter is to be out of use for more
than 30 days, drain the fuel from the engine to prevent sticky deposits from occurring in the fuel intake
system or in vital parts of carburettor. To avoid this procedure, it is possible to save fuel in storage up to
12 months by using an appropriate fuel stabilizer. Add this additive to the fuel in the tank or in the fuel
container. Run the engine for a while to let the stabilizer get into the fuel system. Caution: if the engine
is fed with petrol containing alcohol, drain the fuel tank and run the engine until there is no fuel left.
TRANSPORTING THE GRASS-CUTTER
If the grass-cutter has to be transported on a lorry or a trailer, lower the mower deck, engage the parking
brake and fasten the grass-cutter to the vehicle using ropes or cables.
