Setting the emergency call
1. On the rest mode, press MENU/ENTER for 3 seconds, to access the menu;
2. Press
until the message "↑↓ EMERGENCY" is displayed;
3. Press MENU/ENTER, and then press
OFF OR ↑↓ EMERGENCY ON;
4. Press MENU/ENTER to confirm;
5. If you select the option ↑↓ EMERGENCY OFF, DIAL NUMBER you wish to
configure on your TEX 516 i, to call whenever the phone is picked up, or
whenever any key is pressed (except for the key MENU/ENTER);
6. Press MENU/ENTER to confirm;
7. Press ESC/DIALLED to leave the menu.
Adjusting the RING type
1. On the rest mode, press MENU/ENTER for 3 seconds, to access the menu
2. Press until the message "RING" is displayed;
3. Press MENU/ENTER, and then press
4. Press MENU/ENTER to apply the RING selected;
5. Press ESC/DIALLED to leave the menu.
Defining the Category
