Note.: The loudspeaker function is defined by the ease that the TEX 516i
sounds the voice (originated from the other phone) through the room, and by
the fact that it can retransmit some of the listener's voice to the other phone,
thus avoiding an unidirectional conversation.
To adjust the loudspeaker volume, use the Volume switch at the rear part
of the product.
View made calls
To view which calls have been made from the product, please follow the
procedure bellow:
1. With the phone properly on the base, press the key ESC/DIALLED. The last
10 calls made will be displayed;
2. Press the keys
of the call.

View received calls

To view the received calls, press the keys
view the phone number, the date, and the time of the call.

Caller ID

The TEX 516 i works with two types of identification: FSK and DTMF. It is not
necessary to program the product to operate in neither mode, as the alter-
nation is automatically done.

Phonebook

To access the phonebook, press the key PHONEBOOK, while the phone is on
rest mode (phone on base). The display will show the option ↑↓ SEARCH, to
find a contact. Use the navigation keys to select the option ↑↓ ADD, to add a
new contact to the phonebook.
Searching for a contact on the phonebook
To find a contact on the phonebook, please follow the procedure bellow:
1. Press the key PHONEBOOK, and the option SEARCH will be displayed on
the screen;
2. Press MENU/ENTER;
3. Use the keys or to navigate through the contacts;
4. Once you have found the desired contact, pick up the phone from the base
unit or press the key

to view the phone number called and the length
to make the call.
