3.9 Storage and transport

Even if proper care has been taken, there
is always a risk that the device becomes
damaged during transport. Therefore, in-
spect the DRYPOINT
®
ble transport damage upon arrival. To do
this, you need to remove the packaging
material. If you detect any damage, imme-
diately notify the forwarding company and
BEKO TECHNOLOGIES or your BEKO
TECHNOLOGIES agent.
CAUTION!
Risk of damage
Incorrect transport or storage, and
the use of unsuitable lifting equip-
ment can cause damage to the
DRYPOINT
 M PLUS.
®
Preventive action:
• The DRYPOINT
 M PLUS must only be
®
transported and stored by authorized
and suitably trained personnel.
• Observe all applicable statutory regula-
tions and standards.
CAUTION!
Malfunction caused by dam-
aged components
Do not start the DRYPO-
INT
M PLUS if you suspect that
®
some of its components are da-
maged or defective. Defective
components might impair the ope-
rational safety of the device and
the effectiveness of the drying pro-
cess.
The DRYPOINT
M PLUS must be stored
®
in its original packaging and in an en-
closed, dry and frost-protected room. The
ambient conditions must meet those spec-
ified on the type plate.
Even when in its packaging, the de-
vice must be protected against the el-
ements. During storage, secure the
DRYPOINT
M PLUS so that it cannot
®
topple over and protect it against vibration
and impact.
