Bestimmungsgemäßer
Gebrauch
Das HF-Gerät ist ausschließlich vorgesehen, um
elektrische Leistung für unipolares und bipolares
Schneiden und Koagulieren bei chirurgischen
Eingriffen am Gewebe zu erzeugen.
Es wird in folgenden Bereichen eingesetzt:
• Allgemeinchirurgie
• Arthroskopie
• Endoskopie
• Gastroenterologie
• Gynäkologie
• Handchirurgie
• HNO
• Kardiochirurgie (einschließlich am offenen Herzen)
• Minimal-invasive Chirurgie (MIC)
• Neurochirurgie
• Orthopädie
• Plastische Chirurgie/Dermatologie
• Pneumologie
• Thoraxchirurgie
• Urologie, inklusive transurethrale Resektion (TUR)
• Zahn-Mund-Kiefer-Gesichts-Chirurgie
2. 1. 1 Patientenprofil
Die Anwendung des AUTOCON
®
III 400 ist nicht
auf ein gewisses Patientenprofil (Geschlecht,
Alter, Gewicht etc.) beschränkt. Der Gesundheits -
zustand für die jeweilige Anwendung ist vom
behandelnden Arzt zu beurteilen und für geeignet
zu erklären.

Kontraindikationen
Nicht zur Präparation von metallischen Implantaten
wie Stents bestimmt.
• Nicht geeignet für chirurgische Verfahren, die
kontinuierliche Aktivierung des HF-Generators
erfordern
Die folgenden Körperteile und Gewebetypen
dürfen nicht behandelt werden:
• Ungeeignet für die Arbeit an Knochengewebe

Intended use
The HF device is intended exclusively for the
generation of electrical power for unipolar
and bipolar cutting and coagulation on tissue
structures in surgical operations.
It is used in the following areas:
• General surgery
• Arthroscopy
• Endoscopy
• Gastroenterology
• Gynecology
• Hand surgery
• ENT
• Cardiac surgery (including open-heart surgery)
• Minimally invasive surgery (MIS)
• Neurosurgery
• Orthopedics
• Plastic surgery and dermatology
• Pneumology
• Thoracic surgery
• Urology, including transurethral resection (TUR)
• Oral and maxillofacial surgery

The use of AUTOCON
III 400 is not limited to a
®
certain patient profile (sex, age, weight etc.).
The attending physician must assess a patient's
health for the relevant application and declare it
suitable.

Contraindications
Not intended for the preparation of metallic
implants such as stents.
• Not suitable for surgical procedures which
require continuous activation of the HF
generator.
The following body parts and tissue types must
not be treated:
• Not suitable for working on bone tissue.

Uso previsto
El aparato de AF está previsto exclusivamente
para generar potencia eléctrica a fin de realizar
cortes y coagulaciones unipolares y bipolares
durante intervenciones quirúrgicas en tejidos.
El aparato se utiliza en las siguientes
especialidades:
• Cirugía general
• Artroscopia
• Endoscopia
• Gastroenterología
• Ginecología
• Cirugía de la mano
• ORL
• Cardiocirugía (inclusive cirugía a corazón abierto)
• Cirugía mínimamente invasiva (CMI)
• Neurocirugía
• Ortopedia
• Cirugía plástica/dermatología
• Neumología
• Cirugía del tórax
• Urología, incluida la resección transuretral (RTU)
• Cirugía bucal y maxilofacial
2. 1. 1 Perfil del paciente
La aplicación del AUTOCON
III 400 no está
®
limitada a pacientes que presenten un perfil
determinado (sexo, edad, peso, etc.). El médico
encargado del tratamiento ha de evaluar el estado
de salud del paciente para determinar si el mismo
es adecuado para la aplicación.

Contraindicaciones
El aparato no está previsto para la preparación de
implantes metálicos, tales como stents.
• No es apto para técnicas quirúrgicas que
requieran una activación continua del generador
de AF.
No deben tratarse las siguientes zonas
anatómicas o tipos de tejido:
• No apto para su aplicación en tejido óseo
