Fault
The deep fryer is
not working.
The deep fryer
doesn't heat up.
If faults affecting the deep fryer occur, which are not covered in this table, contact
the customer service department at the service address indicated on the warranty
card. You can also request this user manual from the customer service as a PDF.
Storage
1. Clean the deep fryer as described in the chapter "Cleaning, maintenance
and care".
2. Put all parts back in the deep fryer.
3. Use the handles
4. Store the deep fryer in a dry place that is not accessible for children.
Instructions for preparing food
When deep frying, the food is put in hot oil that is heated to a temperature
between 266 °F (130 °C) and approx. 374 °F (190 °C) depending on the type of food.
Preparing food
Most food (vegetables, fish, meat, baked goods) can be cooked in a deep fryer.
To do so, observe the following notes on preparing food:
− Only deep fry small quantities. Large quantities increase the deep frying
time and the food will soak up more oil.
− Dry the previously washed food well before putting it in the hot oil.
− Cut vegetables, fish and meat into small pieces before you deep fry them. Small
pieces reduce the deep frying time and the food will not soak up as much oil.
− With breaded food, make sure that the breadcrumb coating sticks to the
fried food as firm as possible. A breadcrumb coating that comes off during
the frying process will contaminate the oil.
