Cleaning the housing
1. Pull the power plug each time before you clean the device.
2. Let the deep fryer and all accessories cool off completely.
3. Clean the housing of the deep fryer with a damp cloth containing detergent.
4. Rub the housing off so that it is completely dry.
Cleaning the lid
1. Open the lid
(see fig. A, B). The lid will open automatically. The lid can be removed.
Loosen the lid of the deep fryer.
For this, push the open lid at the bottom forward towards the oil reservoir
and pull it up and out of the guides of the deep fryer.
2. Remove the filter
and pulling the filter out (see fig. E).
3. Wipe the lid, the window
been wrung out well.
4. Let the lid, window and filter dry completely.
Cleaning the frying basket
1. Take the frying basket
2. Remove the handle. To do so, follow the steps described in the chapter
"Mounting the handle on the frying basket" in reverse order (see fig. C).
3. Clean the frying basket and the handle with hot water with detergent. If
necessary, let the frying basket soak in hot water with detergent.
4. Clean the frying basket with a brush.
5. Rinse the frying basket thoroughly under running water until there is no
more soap residue on the frying basket that could contaminate the oil or fat
the next time it is used.
6. Let the frying basket and the handle cool off completely.
Cleaning the oil reservoir
1. Make sure that the oil reservoir
off completely (see fig. A).
2. Empty the oil reservoir as described in the chapter "Emptying the oil reservoir".
3. Clean the oil reservoir with a damp cloth containing detergent.
4. Then remove any leftover detergent with a damp cloth that has been rinsed
out in clean water.
5. Dry the oil reservoir thoroughly. Make sure that there is no leftover deter-
gent in the oil reservoir.
