Zipper Sewing (Continued)
[] (_) Right side of fabric
Zipper pull
® 2"(5,0cm)
Stop Just before the zipper foot reaches the slider on the
zipper tape about 2"(5°0cm) from the top of the zipper°
Lower the needle slightly into the fabric, raise the fool
Open the zipper to move the zipper pull (_) behind the
zipper foot.
Lower the foot and stitch the remainder of the seam,
making sure the fold is even.
[] ® Right side of fabric
Close the zipper and spread the fabric flat with the right
side (top side) of fabric ® facing up_
[] Move the zipper foot to the left pin°
Guide the edge of the foot along the zipper teeth Q and
stitch through the garment and zipper openig.

[] Stop at about 2"(5.0cm) from the top of the zipper.
Lower the needle slightly into the fabric, raise the foot,
Open the zipper to move the slider (_) behind the zipper
foot.
