Disconnect battery pack from tool before making any assembly, adjustments
or changing accessories. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of

For all work or when chang-
ing blade always wear pro-
tective gloves. Such preventive safety measures
reduce the risk of injury from sharp teeth of the
blade. The blade can become very hot while
working. Danger of burns!
Removing the Blade
(Fig. 2, 3, 4)
1. Place the saw on a flat sturdy surface. Turn
the Blade Tension Lock Lever 5 180° clock-
wise to release blade tension (Fig. 2).
2. Release the Cover Plate Latches 6 and open
the Cover Plate 19 completely. (Fig. 3).
3. Pull Blade 9 out of the Blade Guides 16 and
remove blade from the Pulleys 20 (Fig. 4).
Installing the Blade
(Fig. 2, 3, 4)
1. Firmly press the Blade 9 between the Blade
Guides 18 and route the blade around the
Pulleys 20. Note: be sure teeth face up and
point in the same direction as the rotation ar-
row. (Fig. 4).
2. Turn Blade Tension Lock Lever 5 180° coun-
ter-clockwise to tighten the Blade 9 on the
Pulleys 20 (Fig. 2).

3. Be sure the Blade 9 lies freely within the
blade track before starting the saw.
4. Close the Cover Plate 19 (Fig. 3).
BE SURE THAT THE BLADE IS PROPERLY
SEATED ON THE PULLEYS BEFORE START-
ING THE CUT.
