The functions of every icon in the main menu are listed below:
1. balancing programs icon
; if called up, it groups the functions relating to the balancing types.

By default the icons relating to points 3 and 4 are those described above but can be
replaced with more frequently used ones (refer to the "Preferred programme configura-
tion" section).
WHEEL DATA ENTRY WITH AUTOMATIC
To enter the distance, diameter and width values automatically, proceed as follows:
- bring the automatic internal measuring arm (1, Fig. 8) into contact with the inner side of
the rim as shown in Fig. 10/10a, and simultaneously bring the automatic external measur-
ing arm (2, Fig. 8) into contact with the outer side Fig. 11.
Take great care to position the arm correctly so as to ensure accurate data reading.
- Keep the arms in contact with the rim until the machine has acquired the values. Geo-
metric data (distance, diameter and width) are displayed.
- Check the values measured and then return the arm to the rest position.
- If an incorrect value has been acquired during the measurement phase, move the arms
to the rest position and then repeat the operation.
Measurements can also be taken by moving one measuring arm at a time. In this case,
