OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
DEEP SUCTION ELECTRIC PUMP
WARNING: Unsuitable extension cords can be dangerous. If an extension cord is used, it must be
suitable for outdoor use and the connection must be kept dry and off the ground. It is recommended
that this is done by means of a cable reel that holds the plug in place at least 60 mm above the ground
7. MAINTENANCE
Our pumps do not require specific maintenance, but the following operations are recommended:
In case of temporary installation, the pump must be cleaned with clean water after use.
In case of permanent installation, it is necessary to check every 3 months that the starter mecha-
nism is working properly.
Regularly remove any dirt that may accumulate in the crankcase.
Do not expose to frost.
Avoid dry running.
Do not abuse the cable. Never use the cable to carry, pull or unplug the pump.
Clean the pump regularly if the suctioned liquid produces sediment.
Avoid knocks, do not drop the pump.
8. PROBLEM SOLVING
PROBLEM
Engine won't start
Flow rate
insufficient
The electric pump stops
suddenly.
Stator winding
The pump works but does
not draw water
When the power is cut off,
the pump runs backwards
The pump makes noise
and vibrates

POSSIBLE CAUSES
1. No current.
2. Pump phase has been lost.
3. Voltage overload.
4. Capacitor damaged.
5. Connection error.
6. Damaged motor.
1. Operating pressure too high.
2. Clogged inlet.
3. Impeller wear.
4. Possible air gap in pump casing.
1. Circuit breaker disconnected or fuse blown.
2. Clogged impeller.
3. Stator winding is burnt out.
1. The electric pump runs too long with an
incorrect phase.
2. Winding rotation short-circuit or short-circuit
between phases due to broken mechanical seal.
3. Clogged impeller.
4. Electrical pump starts and stops frequently.
5. Electric pump runs on overload.
1. Suction is blocked.
2. Foot valve or non-return valve is closed.
3. Constriction in the suction pipe.
4. Air in the pump or in the suction line.
1. Suction line constriction.
2. Failure of foot valve or non-return valve.
3. Expired foot valve.
4. Bubble in suction line.
1. Narrowing in the suction pipe.
2. Small or blocked suction line.
3. Air in the pump or in the suction pipe.
4. The ratio between device and pump head is
too low.
5. Wear of mechanical parts.
