OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
DEEP SUCTION ELECTRIC PUMP
4. CONDITIONS OF USE
The pump is designed for water treatment, industrial cleaning and dishwashing, garden sprinklers, air
conditioning, water supply and pressurisation.
The pump must not be used in the following situations:
Temperature of the water to be vacuumed > 60 ° C.
Dirty water with particles.
Corrosive, easily combustible, aggressive or explosive liquids (such as petrol, petroleum or nitro
thinner), salt water, oils and greases must not be pumped.
5. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before pump start-up:
Make sure that the mains voltage and frequency are the same as on the nameplate.
Make sure that the capacitor matches the requirements of the pump motor (for single-phase
motors).
Make sure that the pump is fully submerged (for submersible pumps).
Check the direction of rotation.
Never run the pump dry.
Never change the position of the level switch set by the manufacturer.
It is recommended to install a pipe with a larger diameter than the pump discharge to reduce friction
losses as much as possible.
Install a check valve at the pump outlet to prevent the pipe from draining every time the pump stops.
Avoid bends and turns in the piping and make sure that a correct connection is made between the piping
and the pump drive. Both cases affect the correct operation and performance of the pump.
6. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
The single-phase motor includes a thermal protector. For three-phase motors, protection must be
provided by the user or installer.
The plug on the pump cable must match the socket. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use
any adapter plugs. Unmodified plugs and matching plugs will reduce the risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces.
Do not abuse cord. Never use cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging pump. Keep cord away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric
shock.
When operating a pump outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use; using a cord
suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
The pump is equipped with a compatible plug. The power supply in your country must comply with
international regulations.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.
