4. Design and function
4.3 Description
The model CTP1500 digital thermometer is used for temperature measurement
in liquids (water, oil, etc.), in air and in semi-solid materials. Temperatures from
-50 ... +250 °C [-58 ... +482 °F] can be measured.

It can be used universally and is therefore a good aid for commissioning, maintaining
and calibrating temperature instruments and systems.
The handy design and easy operation enable a wide range of uses.
The maximum immersion depth in the medium to be measured is, depending on the
temperature; between 120 ... 260 mm [4.72 ... 10.24 in]. The case temperature must be
taken into account.
