4.6 Voltage supply
The voltage supply of the instrument is made via two 1.5 V AA batteries. These are
included in delivery.
The battery life is approx. 500 hours for continuous operation.
Once the low-battery indicator appears in the right corner of the display, the batteries
must be replaced.
For information on battery replacement, see chapter 7.2 "Battery replacement".
4.7 Ambient temperature
The maximum permissible ambient temperature for the handle is 0 ... 50 °C [32 ... 122 °F].
A separate temperature sensor measures the temperature in the case, directly behind
the display. As soon as the temperature drops below 0 °C [32 °F], or exceeds 50 °C
[122 °F], this temperature flashes in the upper part of the display.

If the instrument is not used for a long time, the battery should be
removed.
The battery must only be used in a proper fashion and must be disposed
of properly in line with the current, national regulations. When storing the
instrument at over 50 °C [122 °F], the battery must be taken out.
If the batteries are removed during operation, the last active indication
remains visible.
