Getting started
Assembly
Mounting the wall bracket
Remove the screw+nut z from the clamp in the
wall bracket t.
Insert the nut z on the back of the wall
bracket t into the hexagonal recess (see fig. B).
Attach the wall bracket t to the wall using
three screws (not included). Note, the distance
from wall bracket t to the rain barrel is restrict-
ed by the length of the connection cable 0
and the depth of the rain barrel.
Attaching the operating unit (fig. B)
Hook the operating unit 8 into the wall bracket
t.
Fasten the operating panel 8 onto the wall
bracket t using the screw z.
Connecting the connection hose
Screw the quick-connect adapter o with the
sealing ring p onto the thread of the pump q.
Push the connection hose u onto the quick-con-
nect adapter o.
Attachment to the rain barrel
Instead of using the wall bracket t, you can also
attach the operating unit 8 directly onto the rain
barrel.
Hook the clip a instead of the wall bracket t
into the operating unit 8.
Attach the clip a to the edge of the rain barrel.

Immersing the pump
WARNING!
Make sure you do not hold or hang the appli-
ance by the connection cable 0. Damage to
the connection cables may cause an electric
shock.
Use the plastic hook i or the connection hose
u to immerse or raise the pump.
Place the pump into the rain barrel. Note that
the maximum immersion depth is 1.8 m due to
the length of the connection hose u.
Hook the plastic hook i onto the edge of the
rain barrel.
Wind the excess connection cable 0 around
the pump and fix the cable onto the side of the
pump using one of the cable clips w.
NOTE
Be careful that dirt and sand may accumulate
in the bottom of the barrel over time and this
could damage the pump.
We recommend placing the pump on a brick.
Shortening the connection hose (fig. C)
You can shorten the connection hose u to prevent
the excess length from causing problems.
Press the connection hose u out of the plastic
hook i.
Unscrew the union nut l from the connecting
piece k.
Pull the connection hose u out of the connect-
ing piece k.
Shorten the connection hose u to the desired
length by cutting off the excess.
Re-attach the connection hose u to the con-
necting piece k and the plastic hook i in the
reverse order.
