A robust two-stage gearbox in a solid cast alu-
minium gearbox casing transmits power from
the carefully balanced and extremely quiet
permanent magnet DC motor, thus providing
enormous torque and a proper working speed
for the grinding or satin-fi nishing cylinder used.
In addition, the sensitive electronic control sys-
tem enables its optimum adaptation to suit the
most varied application purposes.
This means that the right speed and adequate
power are always available to work with!
And, to ensure that power is applied under
control and the sanding or satin-fi nishing tool
guided exactly, the device has a compact and
ergonomic housing with an integrated soft
component. An additional grip allows the device
to be guided exactly parallel to the surface. It is
therefore pleasant to hold at all times and can
be guided without fatigue.
Our WAS/E also offers fl exibility when selecting
the material to be fi nished. Available are both
grinding mop cylinders of various grain sizes
and a satin-fi nishing cylinder. This manual will
show you how to use your cylinder

5 Noise/vibration information
The information on vibration and noise emissi-
on has been determined in compliance with the
prescribed standardised and normative measu-
ring methods and can be used to compare elec-
trical devices and tools with each other.
These values also allow a preliminary evalua-
tion of the loads caused by vibration and noise
emissions.
Warning!
Depending on the operating conditions, the
emissions that actually occur may deviate from
the values given above!
This applies in particular depending on the
workpiece to be machined and the insert tool
(especially its wear condition). Unsuitable
workpieces or materials, poorly maintained
tools, too high a feed rate or unsuitable insert
tools can signifi cantly increase the vibration
load and noise generation.
To more accurately estimate the actual vibra-
tion and noise load, also take the times into
consideration where the device is switched off,
or is running but is not actually in use. This can
clearly reduce the vibration and noise load ac-
ross the entire work period.
