Thank you for choosing a charger made by ANSMANN AG. This operating manual will help you to
make the best possible use of the functions of your new charger. Please read through this operat-
ing manual carefully before putting the charger into operation. We hope you enjoy using this new
charger.

Please take note of the following symbols and words used in the operating manual, on the product
and on the packaging:

triangle GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• KEEP THIS MANUAL SAFE. This manual contains important safety and operating
instructions, which you may have to read again later.
• Only use the charger in appropriate, well-ventilated premises and not outside.
• Do not use the charger if there is damage to the housing, the power cable or the
charging cable. Contact the authorised dealer.
• The charger must not be covered.
• Only use the charger as intended (in accordance with the device specifications).
• Do not expose the charger to high temperatures or extremely high humidity.
• In order to prevent any risk of fire or electric shock, the charger must be protect-
ed from moisture.
• Do not use the charger near flammable gases or liquids.
• Do not open the charger.
• Never charge a frozen or damaged battery.
• Disconnect the charger from the mains after use.
• In order to reduce the risk of damage to the plug and the cable, pull on the plug
and not on the cable when disconnecting the charger.
• Improper use of the charger can put the user in danger.
• Keep away from children! Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the device!
• This product may be used by children aged 8 or above and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and knowl-
edge, provided that they have been instructed regarding the safe use of the
product and are aware of the hazards. Children must not play with the product.
Children must not carry out cleaning or maintenance without supervision.
• Failure to observe the safety instructions can result in dangerous injuries to
persons or damage to the charger!
• In the case of batteries that are not maintenance-free, please check the acid
and open the cover if applicable.
• CAUTION! In order to reduce the risk of injury, only charge LFP or lead-acid wet-
cell gel or AGM car batteries in the intended modes and voltage levels. Other bat-
tery types or voltage levels can lead to the battery bursting and cause injuries to
persons and damage to property.
• The use of accessories that are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer
of the battery charger can lead to a risk of fire, electric shock or injury.
• Make sure that the cable is laid such that people do not step on it, trip over it or
damage or weigh it down in any other way.
• Only use an extension cable if this is absolutely necessary. The use of an unsuit-
able extension cable can lead to a risk of fire and electric shock. If an extension
cable has to be used, make sure that:
a. there are the same number of pins on the extension cable plug in the same
size and shape as those on the charger plug.
b. the extension cable is properly wired and is in a good electrical condition.
• Do not charge any lead-acid batteries in the charging modes 12 V STD, 12 V
AGM/C, 12 V M , 12 V LFP, RECOND or SUPPLY.
