WARNING 
Unsafe Operation Hazard
Do not attempt to attach or tow a trailer without the
recommended tow hitch accessory kit. Death or serious injury
or unit damage could result.

Tow Hazard
Towed loads can be dangerous and cause loss of control.
The maximum gross weight of the trailer (trailer and
load) is 200 lbs (91 kg).
The maximum tongue weight is 20 lbs (9,1 kg).
Do not operate on slopes that are more than 5 degrees.
Slow down and use caution on slopes.
Do not tow with a grass bagger attached.
Maintenance
Maintenance Schedule
DANGER 
Unintentional sparking can result in fire or electric shock.
Unintentional start-up can result in traumatic amputation
or laceration.
Before performing adjustments or repairs:
Stop the rider and remove the key. See Operation >
Stop the Unit.
Disconnect battery. See Battery Service Disconnect.
Use only correct tools.
Do not tamper with parts to increase ground speed or
mower blade speed.
Replacement parts must be of the same design and
installed in the same position as the original parts. Other
parts may provide poor performance, may damage the
unit, and may result in injury.
Every 8 Hours or Daily
   Do a safety interlock system check
   Clean debris from the rider and mower deck
Every 25 Hours or Annually *
   Do a mower blade stopping time check
   Do an inspection of the rider and mower for loose hardware
   Do an inspection of visible and accessible wiring and electrical
connections
   Do a tire pressure check
See Dealer Annually to
   Lubricate the rider and mower
   Do an inspection of the mower blades **
   Do an inspection of the battery
* Whichever comes first

Tire Pressure Check
For the best traction and mowing performance, make sure
that the tire inflation pressure is correct (Figure 22). See
Specifications.
NOTE: There can be a difference between the recommended
tire inflation pressure and the "Maximum Inflation" shown on
the side of the tires.

Mower Blade Stop Time Check
The mower blades should come to a complete stop in five (5)
seconds or less after the PTO switch is turned off.
WARNING 
Unsafe Operation Hazard
If the mower blades do not come to a complete stop in five (5)
seconds or less, see your dealer.
Battery Maintenance
To charge the battery:
See Operation > Charge the Battery.
To disconnect the battery:
See Battery Service Disconnect.
Battery Service Disconnect
1.
Shut down the unit. See Operation > Stop the Unit.
2.
Raise the operator seat.
3.
Locate the battery service disconnect (A, Figure 23)
under the seat hinge bracket. Disconnect from the main
harness.
NOTICE 
Do not use the center plug on the battery as a service
disconnect.
4.
Make sure that you connect the battery service
disconnect after maintenance / service is complete.
