Mower Blade Installation
WARNING
Laceration Hazard
Mower blades are sharp.
Always wear gloves when handling blades or working near
blades.
1.
Install each mower blade so that the air lifts (C, Figure
35) point up toward the mower deck as shown. Fasten
with the mower blade mounting bolt (A) and flat washer
(B).
2.
Set a wooden block (D) between the mower blade and
the mower deck housing to keep the mower blade in
place. Tighten the blade mounting bolt to 50-60 lb-ft
(68-81 Nm).

Lubrication
Lubricate the unit at the following locations:
Oil:
•
Deck lift pivot points
•
Discharge chute hinge
Generally, all moving metal parts should be oiled where
contact is made with other parts. Keep oil off motors.
Remember to wipe fittings and surfaces clean both before
and after lubrication.
Push the Rider by Hand
WARNING
Unsafe Operation Hazard
DO NOT attempt to push the rider on slopes. Death or
serious injury could result. Push the rider only on flat, level
surfaces.
NOTICE
Do not tow the unit. Towing the unit will cause unit damage.
Do not use another vehicle to push or pull this unit.
NOTICE
Do not push the unit for long distances. Unit damage
could result.

Make sure that the unit is turned off. See Operation >
Stop the Unit.
2.
Disengage the parking brake. See Operation > Parking
Brake Operation.
3.
The rider can now be pushed by hand.
