Cablesare attachedto their respective controls,but are left unat-
tachedto the handleto easeassembly;however,they will needto
be securedto the lowerhandleby the providedcabletie. See

Fuel recommendations
Use automotive gasoline(unleaded or low leadedto minimize
combustionchamberdeposits)with a minimumof 87 octane.
Gasolinewith up to 10%ethanolor 15% MTBE(MethylTertiary
Butyl Ether)can be used. Neverusean oil/gasolinemixtureor dirty
gasoline.Avoidgettingdirt, dust, or waterin the fueltank. DO NOT
use E85gasoline.

Refuelin a well-ventilated areawith the enginestopped.Donot
smokeor allowflamesor sparksin the area wherethe engine is
refueledor wheregasolineis stored.

Do notoverfillthe fuel tank.After refueling,make surethetank
cap is closedproperlyand securely.

Be carefulnot to spill fuelwhen refueling.Spilledfuel or fuel
vapormayignite. If any fuel is spilled,makesurethe area is dry
beforestartingthe engine.

Avoidrepeatedor prolongedcontactwith skin or breathingof
vapor.

oil
Theengineis shippedwithoutoil in the engine.Youmustfill the
enginewith oil beforeoperating.Runningthe enginewith insuf-
ficientoil can causeseriousenginedamageand void the product
warranty.

Removetheoil fillercap/dipstickand wipethe dipstickclean.

Slowlyadd oil untilthe oil levelregistersbetweenhigh (H)

Maintenancesectionfor the correctoil viscosityand engineoil
capacity.
Use extremecarewhen handlinggasoline.Gasolineis extremely
flammableandthe vaporsare explosive.Neverfuel the machine
indoorsor whilethe engineis hotor running.Extinguishcigarettes,
cigars,pipesand othersourcesof ignition.
Alwayskeephandsand feet clearof equipmentmovingparts. Do
not usea pressurizedstartingfluid.Vaporsare flammable.
