• Bei laufendem Betrieb wird das Gerät zu heiß.
Wenn das Signal einsetzt, bleibt das Gerät
zunächst weiter in Betrieb.

VORSICHT: Beseitigen Sie die Ursache
für die Überhitzung (z. B. schlechte
Konvektion, Wärme- oder Lichteinwirkung
usw.), oder reduzieren Sie die Lichtintensität
(Leistung). Wenn das nicht möglich ist,
schließen Sie Ihre Behandlung ab.
• Steigt die Temperatur weiter an, schaltet das
Gerät beim Erreichen der kritischen Temperatur
das Kaltlicht aus. Das optische / akustische
Signal bleibt bestehen. Es wird gelöscht, wenn
die Temperatur wieder auf zulässige Werte
gesunken ist.
Das Kaltlicht bleibt aber trotzdem ausgeschaltet
(Wiedereinschaltsperre).
• Wird die kritische Temperatur nicht überschritten
bzw. sinkt die Gerätetemperatur wieder
aufgrund der getroffenen Maßnahmen,
bleibt das Gerät weiter in Betrieb. Sobald
die Temperatur wieder auf zulässige Werte
abgesunken ist, wird das Signal (optisch/
akustisch) gelöscht.

HINWEIS: Wenn die Übertemperatur-
Sicherung angesprochen hat und das Gerät
daraufhin ausgeschaltet und sofort wieder
eingeschaltet wird, wird Fehler a) signalisiert
(Dauerton). Es muss das Gerät erst auf
zulässige Temperaturen abgekühlt werden.
• Sobald das Gerät abgekühlt ist, schalten Sie das
Gerät wieder ein. Sofern kein anderer Defekt
vorliegt (z. B. blockierter Lüfter) startet das Gerät
wieder normal.

• The unit has become too hot during operation.
If the signal sounds, the unit can still be used for
a while.

CAUTION: Remove the cause of the
overheating (e.g., poor convection, effect
of heat or light, etc.) or reduce the light
intensity (output). If this is not possible,
conclude your treatment.
• If the temperature continues to increase, the
cold light turns off when the unit reaches the
critical temperature. The optical/acoustic signal
remains on. It turns off once the temperature
drops back down to an admissible value.
However, the cold light remains turned off
(restart block).
• If the critical temperature is not exceeded or
if the unit temperature drops as a result of the
measures taken, the unit continues to operate.
As soon as the temperature reaches admissible
values, the signal (optical/acoustic) is deleted.
Notes on errors a) and b)

NOTE: If the overheating fuse has responded
and the unit is subsequently turned off
and immediately turned back on, error a)
is signaled (constant alarm). The unit must
firstly be allowed to cool down to permissible
temperatures.
• As soon as the unit has cooled down, turn the
unit back on. As long as there are no other
problems (e.g., blocked fan), the unit starts
again normally.

• Estando el servicio en marcha, el aparato se
sobrecalienta. Si se activa la señal, el aparato
permanece primeramente en servicio.

ADVERTENCIA: Elimine la causa del
sobrecalentamiento (p. ej., mala convexión,
efectos calor o luz, etc.) o reduzca la
intensidad lumínica (potencia). Si esto no
es posible, finalice el tratamiento.
• Si la temperatura sigue aumentando, al alcanzar
la temperatura crítica el aparato desconecta la
luz fría. La señal óptica / acústica permanece.
Se apaga cuando la temperatura ha descendido
nuevamente hasta alcanzar valores admisibles.
La luz fría permanece, sin embargo, apagada
(bloqueo de reconexión).
• Si no se sobrepasa la temperatura crítica o la
temperatura del aparato desciende debido a
las medidas adoptadas, el aparato permanece
en servicio. En cuanto la temperatura ha
descendido nuevamente a valores admisibles se
borra la señal (óptica/acústica).

NOTA: Si el fusible de sobretemperatura
se ha disparado, como consecuencia
se ha desconectado el aparato pero
inmediatamente se ha vuelto a conectar,
sigue señalizado el error a) (sonido continuo).
En primer lugar el aparato ha de enfriarse a
una temperatura permisible.
• En cuanto el aparato se haya enfriado,
conéctelo nuevamente. En tanto no exista otro
defecto (p. ej., ventilador bloqueado) el aparato
arranca nuevamente de forma normal.
