Completely slide the PSP into the barrier en-

velope The black (inactive) side of the PSP

Pull off the adhesive strip and close the barrier

envelope tightly by pressing together firmly

The light protection cover must be disinfected
i
using a disinfection wipe immediately before it
is positioned inside the patient's mouth
(eg with Dürr FD 350)
Alternatively, a spray disinfectant (eg FD 322,
FD 333) can be used on a soft, lint-free cloth
In the case of image plates Plus size 4, place
i
the bite protector around the light protection
cover with image plate if necessary

Recording the X-ray image
Place the PSP in the barrier envelope into the
i
patient's mouth
Doing this, make sure that the active side of
the PSP faces the X-ray tube

Set the exposure time and setting values on
i
the X-ray unit (see "82 X-ray unit settings")
Record the X-ray image
i
Result:
The image data must be scanned within 30 min-
utes
