Installation
ATTENTION!
The wheel covers on the tractor unit must be removed
before coupling.
ADVICE!
The check of all system functions can only be performed
in connection with a tractor unit fitted with KKS.

Perform the following tests:
1. Carry out the coupling process, checking that
the fifth wheel coupling locks fully;
the semi-trailer is electrically and pneumatically connected;
the lights on the semi-trailer are in full working order;
the brakes on the semi-trailer are in full working order;
no error messages are displayed on the instrument panel of
the tractor unit;
the landing gears on the semi-trailer are retracted electrically
via the KKS remote control;
the landing gears are retracted and extended via the landing
gear button, on condition that Pin 9 on the 15-pin connector
of the tractor unit is connected;
leakage from the KKS connection can be heard when the
compressed air system is at maximum pressure (> 10 bar);
the valve unit is not leaking when the compressed air sys-
tem is at maximum pressure (> 10 bar). If necessary, use leak
detector spray approved by the vehicle manufacturer;
