ATTENTION!
The swivel wedge may only be installed using the spe-
cial setting master from JOST, as shown in Figure 24. You
can purchase the tool from JOST using order number
SKE008630001.
Place the setting master on a lifting gear with sufficient lift for
installing the swivel wedge.

Position the lifting gear with the JOST setting master
mounted on it under the trailer plate.
Carefully place the swivel wedge on the setting master and
position in the direction of travel.
Lift the swivel wedge until the kingpin of the swivel wedge is
in contact with the edge of the weld-in plate.
ATTENTION!
Check that the swivel wedge is correctly seated on the
device before lifting it.
