Hold drill and reamer 6 with the battery compart-
ment pointing upwards.

Simultaneously press
buttons 12 at cover 11 and remove cover 11.

Hold the battery compartment at its lower end,
with the first two fingers and the thumb encom-
passing the compartment and the ring finger and
small finger protruding as a cushion, see Fig. 5.

In this position, remove battery 13 from the battery
compartment by knocking the unit against the
palm of the hand, see Fig. 6.
