Open the package (par. 3.7) and remove the parts;
- Fig.19 – Mark the midline "Y" on the window with a pencil;
- Fig. 20- Apply the adhesive template (Ref. 1) to the window
aligning it with the midline "Y" drawn previously.
For windows that are not aligned it is necessary to cut
@
the template horizontally and apply it carefully to the window
in the same reference position.
- Fig. 21 – Using a suitable drill, make holes of the diameter
indicated on the template;
- Fig.22 – Fasten each of the two connecting brackets to the
window using two screws d4.8x16 (left – right).
Check that the brackets fastened to the window are aligned
between them.
- Fig. 23 - Use 3 screws d4.8x16 to fasten the bracket to the
bottom-hinged window.
Make the electric connection in compliance with the
indications in paragraph 4.6 and in reference to the
respective wiring diagram shown in Fig.43.
- Fig. 25 - Use the command to let the chain run out by at least
50mm, then disconnect power;
- Fig. 26 – Fasten the chain terminal to the bottom-hinged
window bracket;
- Fig.27 – Fasten the actuator to the window brackets using
the screws type M4.8x10 as shown in Fig. 18.

DOME WINDOWS
Open the package (par. 3.7) and remove the parts;
Fig.29 – Mark the midline "Z" on the window with a pencil;
Fig. 30- Apply the adhesive template (Ref. 1) to the window
aligning it with the midline "Z" drawn previously.
For windows that are not aligned it is necessary to cut the
template horizontally and apply it carefully to the window in
the same reference position.
Fig. 31 – Using a suitable drill, make holes of the diameter
indicated on the template;
Fig.32-33 – Use 2 screws d4.8x16 to fasten each of the two
connecting brackets for vertical installation (left – right)
making sure they are aligned with each other.
Fig. 34 – Fasten the snap fastener with 2 screws d4.2x19 so
that the fast release indicator (Ref. 1) is positioned to the left
of the midline marking drawn previously.
Make the electric connection in compliance with the
indications in paragraph 4.6 and in reference to the
respective wiring diagram.
Use the command to let the chain run out by at least 50mm,
then disconnect power.
Fig. 36 – Fasten the chain terminal to the snap fastener,
making sure the green dot on the actuator matches the green
dot on the snap fastener.
Fig.37 – Fasten the actuator to the window brackets using the
screws type M4.8x10 as shown in Fig. 28.
The actuator has been installed correctly if:
- the chain terminal is perfectly aligned with the snap fastener.
Any misalignment could cause serious damage to the
actuator and window;
- you do not notice any slack in moving the actuator

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
horizontally between the two fastening brackets;
- the window fastening brackets adhere to the actuator.
4.5
STROKE ADJUSTMENT
The opening stroke of the C20 can be calibrated to 200mm
(switch position I) or 320mm (switch position II) exclusively by
qualified technical personnel.
The actuator stroke must be shorter than the stroke limited by
the mechanical stops on the window when fully open.
The actuator is supplied with the stroke set at 200mm; to edit
this parameter just insert a suitable screwdriver into the base
of the switch on the side of the actuator and move it as far as it
will go (Fig.38). An intermediate or erroneous position of the
switch causes blockage of the actuator.
For installations under 2.5m with different controls from the
"dead man" switch with direct view of the window moved, the
setting must be 1 (200 mm) using the special safety plug (see
fig.39).
4.6
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Electrical connection of the power unit must be made
exclusively by skilled, qualified technical personnel in
possession of the professional requisites foreseen by
the legislation in force in the country of installation,
who shall issue the client a declaration of conformity
of the connection and/or installation made.
To ensure effective separation of the electric power
line, the device must be fitted, between it and the
mains, with an approved bipolar circuit breaker.
Upstream of the control line, a bipolar general key
switch must be installed, with contact opening of at
least 3 mm.
Any type of electrical material (plug, cable, clamps, etc.)
&
used for connection must be suitable for the purpose, marked
"CE" and must comply with the requisites foreseen by the
legislation in force in the country of installation.
The electric power line to which the actuator is connected
&
must comply with the requisites foreseen by the legislation in
force in the country of installation, and must have the
technical characteristics indicated in Tab.1 and on the "CE"
rating plate (par. 3.1).
The cross section of the electric power line must be of
&
suitable size for the power absorbed (see rating plate and
"CE" marking).
4.7
CONTROL DEVICES
Depending on the different types of installation, the actuators
may be operated by the following types of controls:
- Bipolar "dead man" type switch with central OFF position;
this serves to operator one or more actuators at the same
time.
- TOPP microprocessor-controlled power unit, model TF
which will drive one or more actuators simultaneously using
the manual switch or TOPP TR8 remote radio control. Rain
