16. Risk of injuries or burns!
Using the device results in high temperatures. Even after use,
there is residual heat. If necessary, use oven gloves or pot
holders.
17. Do not move the warmer as long as it is still hot or the fondue pot is
placed on it. Pull the plug from the socket and allow the appliance
to cool down completely. Do not pull on the cable to move the
device. Lift the warmer and place it on the desired location.
18. Ensure that no foreign bodies (paper, dishtowels, etc.) are touching
the heating plate.
19. Use the included fondue pot only. This ensures that the pot is firmly
seated on the warmer.
20. Pull out the power plug after each use and in case of:
- the appliance not being under your direct supervision
- malfunctions during operation
- each cleaning
Do not pull on the power cord, but on the plug itself!
21. Never immerse the warmer, the cable or the plug in water or other
liquids. Please do not clean it in the dishwasher.
22. Never use the warmer if you discover damages, if water has entered
the housing, or if the device has fallen down.
23. Check the power cord before every use for damage. If the power
cord is damaged, it must immediately be replaced. This may only
be arranged by the manufacturer, his customer service or a similarly
qualified and authorized specialist.
24. Never attempt to open or repair the warmer yourself. In the event of
a malfunction, have it repaired only by qualified experts. Contact
an authorized retailer for this.
25. Use original accessories only.
Before the first use
· Start by carefully reading the instructions for use and the safety instructions.
· First, remove all packaging materials.
· Wipe the warmer with a soft cloth, slightly damp, if necessary.
Afterwards dry off thoroughly.
· Clean the fondue pot, the splash guard as well as the forks in warm
water a mild detergent. Please dry all parts thoroughly.
· Do not use any sharp or pointed objects, gasoline, solvent, scrubbing
brushes, or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning.
Use
· Place the fondue set on a suitable surface (not on a metal surface; not
on fabrics etc.). Protect the surface from any splashes.
· Fill the fondue pot with oil / grease or broth up to between the MIN
and the MAX mark. Attention: Do not fill the pot above the MAX mark
to prevent splashes and keep it from overflowing.
· Place the fondue pot onto the warmer and insert the plug into the power
outlet. Attention: Ensure that the power cord does not touch any hot
surfaces on the housing.
· The indicator light switches on in blue. Turn the temperature regulation
knob to the highest setting. The indicator light shines in red as long as
the appliance is heating. As soon as the desired temperature is
reached, the indicator light switches to blue.
· When you notice small bubbles forming on a wooden pick that is
dipped into the hot vegetable oil / cooking oil, the oil has reached the
perfect temperature.
· Adjust the intensity of heat in accordance with the temperature you need.
· Use the forks to skewer the prepared pieces of food and cook them in
the hot liquid. Take note of the marking on the handle of your fork to
avoid mixing them up.
