Important information
Read these operating instructions carefully prior to operating the appliance
for the first time and store it in a safe place. Pay particular attention, in
your own interest, to the safety information in order to avoid accidents
and malfunctions. Improper use, application or insufficient cleaning and
care can impair safety and result in danger for the user. KÜCHENPROFI
cannot accept any responsibility for injuries or damage attributed to
improper use.
Safety instructions
1. If this device is given to other persons, ensure that these operating
instructions are also handed over.
2. We accept no responsibility for any damages that occur due to
improper use or incorrect handling. This device is intended for
household use only. Do not use the appliance unprotected
outside.
3. Check whether the type of current and the mains voltage comply
with the information on the rating label.
4. Do not touch either the warmer or the power plug with wet or damp
hands.
5. Connect the device to a properly installed power socket only. Do not
use any multiple socket that is already being used to run other
appliances. The plug and cord must be dry.
6. Operate the appliance under supervision only and use it exclusively
for the intended purpose for cooking food in hot grease / cooking
oil or broth.

7. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children, unless they are older
than 8 years and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out
of the reach of children less than 8 years.
8. Children shall not play with the device.
9. Do not at all operate this unit with an external timer or a separate
remote control system.
10. Attention: Only operate the appliance on non-flammable, flat,
stable and sufficiently heat resistant surfaces and not near water
sources, hot cooktops, gas flames or other sources of heat and out
of the reach of children. Protect sensitive surfaces from splashes that
may occur.
11. Ensure sufficient free space above and near the appliance.
12. The warmer has to have a safe stand. Make sure that it stands level
on all four feet.
13. Avoid smashing or kinking the power cord or having contact to hot
surfaces or liquids and abrasion on sharp edges.
14. Do not allow the power cord to dangle and place the device in a
way that no one can fall over the cord.
15. Attention: Never fill the fondue pot above the MAX mark to keep
it from overflowing and prevent splashes of hot liquid.
