Battery Locating Rail Adapter (applicable to CP/DEP/
DP/EP/GP/PR/XiR/R2 Radio Battery Charger Only)
The battery locating rail is a removable part which constitutes an adapter to
accommodate standard and slim batteries. Refer to the charger electronic
user manual (Standard batteries for CP/DEP/DP/EP/GP/PR/XiR/R2 Radios)
for list of standard and slim batteries.
The CP/DEP/DP/EP/GP/PR/XiR/R2 Radio Battery Charger is shipped with
the battery locating rail in the standard battery position.
To change to the slim battery position:
1.
Remove the battery locating rail by pinching inward both sides while
pulling from the charger pocket.
2.
Turn the battery locating rail around so the back faces the front.
3.
Re-insert into the charger pocket.
NOTE: Does not apply to the R2 radio as both the slim and standard
batteries can be charged with the battery locating rail in the standard battery
position on the radio battery charger.
CHARGING POCKET INSTALLATION

Removing Charging Pocket from Multi-Unit Charger
1.
Remove the screw that secures the Charging Pocket to the base.
2.
Lift the Charging Pocket a few inches away from the base.
3.
Remove the Pocket Harness by pulling straight up on the connector
(refer to Figure 3).
Securing Charging Pocket to Multi-Unit Charger
1.
Connect Pocket Harness by plugging in the connector to the
receptacle on Multi-Unit Charger (refer to Figure 3).
To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug the charger
from the AC outlet before removing or replacing
Charging Pocket.
