must be physically capable of assisting a patient;
•
must read this manual and become familiar with the procedures described;
•
must be familiar with the folding chair before using it in real situations with a real patient;
•
must follow a training programme approved by the person in charge of the training of the Medical Emergency Service;
•
must have their training veri ed;
•
must do appropriate exercises and be careful to avoid the risk of damaging their spinal cord.

WARNING! Sanitization agents are corrosive.
Scrupulously observe the instructions provided by the producer of the sanitization agent during use. Whenever possible, consult the
producer for guarantees regarding the degree of corrosiveness of the solutions utilised.
It is extremely important to follow the speci cations regarding the concentration, temperature and reaction times.
The modi cation of these characteristics may damage the article.
The sanitization intervals to be adopted are de ned by the user on the basis of requirements while bearing in mind the information
provided in this manual and the instructions listed on the sanitization products employed.
Check the folding chair once a month or more frequently if the product is used in heavy-duty conditions.
The inspection must include the search for anything which could compromise the integrity and correct operation of the folding chair,
e.g., bent or broken parts.
During the inspection it is necessary to carry out the same tests described in "Check before operation".
WARNING! If there is any sign of damage, put the chair out of service until the necessary repairs or replacements have been carried
out.
WARNING! Keep a record of the maintenance activities carried out
Every 30 days:
•
clean the metal parts with water and soap, rinse and dry completely;
•
clean the rubber parts with water and soap, rinse and dry completely;
•
carefully clean the wheels and verify their ef ciency;
•
lubricate all the joints and hinges with oil (the type used for lubricating motors);
•
lubricate all the moving parts with white lithium-base lubricant;.
•
remove the excess lubricant before operation;
•
carry out a complete operation test.
WARNING! IN CASE OF BLOOD-TRANSMITTED DISEASES : To reduce the risk of exposure during use, follow the maintenance
instructions contained in this manual and the regulations on personnel safety established by the person in charge of the Medical
Emergency Service.
To order a spare part it is necessary to provide the Product Type and the Serial Number of the folding chair in addition to the part
number de ned in the following Table.
