The full guard version with the profiled guard tubes does not require a restraint chain.
3.1.1 Storing the PTO drive shaft correctly
NOTE!
Material damage as a result of handling the restraint chain
incorrectly!
► Do not hang the PTO drive shaft on the restraint chain.
► Observe the notes on assembling the restraint chain (see Chapter 3.1 on page 38)
1. Remove the PTO drive shaft from the PTO.
2. Place the PTO drive shaft in the fastener.
The point of contact must be in the first third of the PTO drive shaft
3.1.2 Locking mechanisms
To connect the PTO drive shaft between the tractor and the machine, there are various locking
mechanisms available which do or don't require tools:
For tools-based locking mechanisms, regularly check that they are screwed tight and
tighten any fasteners where necessary!
